Addressing COVID-19 & Telehealth.
It is important for you to address the pandemic and telehealth on your website, if not for the simple fact of signaling to folks that you’ve actually updated your website since the pandemic!
Here are some options of how to do it:
Add an announcement banner that pops up when people come to your site that says all services are online.
Add a whole section to your home page that talk about telehealth.
Add a section to your services pages that addresses telehealth.
Weave language about telehealth through your site.
Create an entire page dedicated to telehealth, and then put links to that on each service page. You can either make it an item in your main navigation, or you can make it an “Not Linked” page (we will cover this in your tutorial).
Sample language for COVID-19 & Telehealth
“Due to the ongoing public health crisis all my services will be provided exclusively online through a secure and confidential telehealth platform. You will be getting the same high quality care from the comfort of home and we can both stay safe during this time. If you have any questions about how telehealth works, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.”
