MY STORY
Before I became a Californian, I grew up with snowy winters and summers of family fishing with my Dad in the beautiful lakes and streams of Colorado.
A love for travel sparked an interest in understanding how people from various countries view life, food, music, art, and relationships. It was inspiring to me to see such beautiful diversity.
I worked as a legal secretary for 10 years in top notch law firms in southern California, where I gained administrative and assertiveness skills running a busy attorney’s office. I experienced corporate America first-hand and bring that understanding into connecting with my clients’ work stress and career concerns.
A few words about my professional training
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Working 33 years in various clinical settings, including a counseling center for families whose incomes are below the federal poverty threshold, a domestic violence recovery center, Christian churches, and private practice have provided a solid foundation of compassion, training, and insight into the emotional, psychological, socioeconomic, cultural, and spiritual needs of my clients.
